Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' trauma histories and their specific treatment needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies tailored to each patient's experiences and recovery goals.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patients' emotional healing.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions that assist clients in processing their trauma, developing healthy coping strategies, and establishing a pathway toward recovery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support as necessary.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available therapeutic resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults and adolescents dealing with the impacts of trauma, PTSD, and complex psychological conditions that result from traumatic experiences. Our client population often presents a diverse array of challenges, so a comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and resilience-building strategies is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in trauma therapy or mental health counseling.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
