Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, including frequency, severity, and the clients' overall mental health status.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their unique needs, goals, and preferences are met effectively.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to address mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor clients' progress through regular check-ins, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective interventions.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans according to ethical and legal standards.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting awareness of treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Clients may range from adolescents to adults, each requiring tailored therapeutic interventions to support their unique circumstances and mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, specifically CBT and DBT, with demonstrable experience in applying these techniques to support clients with mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and an ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists in managing client care.

• Proven success in achieving positive client outcomes within mood disorder treatment.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a diverse client population.
