This full-time position allows for flexibility as it is primarily remote, providing the opportunity to connect with clients in their own environments while enhancing your work-life balance. While the standard schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some adaptability in your hours may be required to meet the diverse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patient histories and specific treatment needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals, emphasizing resilience and empowerment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their experiences and build coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to integrate care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to clients during emergencies or acute trauma episodes.
\n
• Educate clients and their family members about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for further assistance.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case consultations and ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Helping Hands Counseling Services, you will primarily work with individuals facing the challenges of trauma-related mental health issues. Many of our clients are survivors of various forms of trauma, including abuse, neglect, and disaster. Your role will not only assist in their healing journey but also help them build resilience and develop essential coping strategies to thrive beyond their trauma.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• At least 2 years of professional experience providing mental health counseling, ideally post-licensure.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Experience implementing trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress settings.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology.
\n
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
