The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) to join our team. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while ensuring that you still maintain a strong connection to our outpatient office environment. You will typically work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential flexibility in hours to meet the needs of your clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and trauma history, leading to relevant diagnoses and treatment recommendations.

• Design and implement individualized, trauma-focused treatment plans that prioritize recovery and personal resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions, promoting shared understanding and communal healing among clients.

• Collaborate effectively with other health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated care and support for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective support.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development related to trauma-informed care practices.

• Remain informed about the latest developments in mental health treatment and trauma therapy, integrating this knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele ranges from children and adolescents to adults who have experienced various traumatic events. As a therapist at The Outlet, you will work closely with individuals facing challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and complex trauma. Your ability to cultivate trust and foster a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship will be essential in guiding clients toward healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure in Arizona as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and connection.

Preferred Experience\n

While at least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and expertise in trauma-focused therapies. Experience conducting group therapy and working within a multidisciplinary team setting will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
