Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Honor Your Emotions, you will be working with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our practice sees a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We encourage therapists to bring their unique perspectives and specialties, so they can truly connect with clients and foster meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Must be licensed or closely licensed under the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, holding either an LMFT or LCSW.

• Registration with the appropriate licensing board and in good standing with the California BBS is mandatory.
\n
• Proficiency in Spanish or additional languages is encouraged, and bilingual candidates will receive a salary differential.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of a Master’s degree is required, we highly value candidates who have experience working with diverse populations and a variety of mental health disorders. Experience with evidence-based therapeutic practices and multi-disciplinary teamwork will strongly enhance your candidacy. Familiarity with community health resources and experience providing culturally responsive care are also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
