Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans focused on promoting trauma recovery and resilience among patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to provide an avenue for patients to process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote overall well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and various healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Respond to trauma-related emergencies by providing crisis intervention and immediate support as necessary.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available support resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing mental health services primarily to adults who have experienced various forms of trauma. Our patient population often includes individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma histories, interpersonal issues, and associated mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Holds current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, candidates with extensive experience in trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits\n
