Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to gauge clients’ substance abuse history, mental health status, and any co-occurring disorders to form a holistic understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and underlying mental health problems, adapting approaches based on individual progress and feedback.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote healing and recovery.

• Collaborate regularly with interdisciplinary team members—including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers—to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive care atmosphere for clients.

• Provide psychoeducation and family therapy sessions to empower families and enhance their involvement in the recovery process, cultivating a supportive home environment for our clients.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, demonstrating professionalism and accountability in all documentation practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population encompasses adults facing substance abuse challenges, many of whom also struggle with co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Experience in addiction counseling, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices related to substance abuse treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
