Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and interviews to understand clients' needs, establishing trusting relationships from the first interaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed Mental Health Counselor with Peaceful Perspective, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Our clients come from different backgrounds, and your ability to connect with them empathetically will be crucial in promoting their path to recovery and emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Must hold an active and valid license/certification in the state of California, such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, working directly with clients facing emotional and psychological challenges.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is desired but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
