Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations of geriatric patients, acknowledging their unique challenges and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including individual and family therapy sessions, to effectively address diverse psychiatric conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support the mental health needs of elderly individuals experiencing a range of psychiatric conditions. Your work will significantly focus on addressing the psychological and emotional needs of patients grappling with complex challenges, such as transitions related to aging, cognitive decline, and mental health disorders prevalent in this demographic.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health capacity, particularly with geriatric populations.

• Strong understanding of geriatric mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to deliver effective individual and family therapy to older adults.

Compensation and Benefits\n
