Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, accurately identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices to address both their mental health and substance use needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to equip clients with essential coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation skills.

• Engage in regular monitoring of clients' recovery progress through substance use assessments and motivational interviewing techniques, promoting client engagement and commitment to treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about the interconnected nature of mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and referrals, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic interventions for co-occurring conditions, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A thorough understanding of the complexities and interdependencies between mental health and substance use disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and communicate within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
