Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their current mental health status and identify specific therapeutic needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and goals.

• Engage in regular follow-up sessions with clients, providing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support.

• Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to assist clients in achieving their treatment objectives.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for peer connection and shared experiences.

• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare specialists, such as psychiatrists or medical providers, ensuring comprehensive care for clients with complex needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes using our EHR system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a wide range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. You will have the opportunity to help clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals from differing socioeconomic statuses, cultural backgrounds, and age groups. Your role will directly influence their pathways to recovery and improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and the most effective evidence-based treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
