Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify co-occurring disorders and individualized treatment needs, ensuring an accurate understanding of each client's unique challenges.

• Develop and execute evidence-based treatment plans that are specifically tailored to align with each client’s goals, incorporating therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to address addiction recovery, trauma, and various underlying mental health concerns, fostering a safe environment for clients to share their experiences.

• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress throughout their rehabilitation journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to continually support their growth and recovery.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care, participate in case management meetings, and disseminate updates on client progress.

• Provide education to clients and their families regarding mental health principles, addiction recovery strategies, and resources available within the community.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records to assure compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
