Work Environment\n

This position is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while still delivering meaningful therapeutic support. You will engage with clients through teletherapy sessions and remain connected with them and their families throughout their treatment journey. Renewal Path, LLC operates an outpatient facility located in Moreno Valley, California, providing support to clients in the surrounding area. While most of your work will be done from home, you may occasionally participate in in-person meetings or training sessions to enhance collaboration with your fellow mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions for all assigned clients, focusing on their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Facilitate group counseling and educational workshops in alignment with the organization’s program schedule to promote collective healing and peer support.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and discharge plans for a diverse caseload, ensuring the highest standard of care.

• Maintain weekly communication with family members and referral sources, fostering a collaborative support system for clients.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development, including participation in in-service trainings, clinical team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with licensing standards by maintaining comprehensive and accurate client records, overseeing documentation quality in client charts.

• Assist clients in their daily treatment activities by providing guidance and support tailored to overcoming barriers in their mental health journey.

• Collaborate with Primary Therapists to create holistic treatment plans that encompass all relevant therapeutic modalities.

• Review and update treatment plans regularly, ensuring they adapt to clients’ evolving needs and circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role involves working with a varied client population, including individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a range of mental health challenges. You will support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions, as well as provide specialized care for geriatric clients, should you possess relevant experience. Your expertise will help empower them to navigate their challenges and achieve improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work (MA Clinical Psych, MA Counseling, or MA Clinical Social Work).

• A current and valid license to practice as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LMHC in the state of California. Note that associates licenses are not accepted for this position due to billing restrictions.

• Strong skills in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word) and an ability to adapt to electronic health record systems.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment and show self-direction with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with geriatric experience will be viewed favorably. Additionally, proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and experience with collaborative treatment planning can enhance the candidate's suitability for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
