Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and screenings to determine clients’ mental health status and substance abuse history, facilitating data-driven treatment plans.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to diverse client needs.

• Collaborate effectively with fellow treatment team members—including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers—to ensure integrated, holistic care.

• Provide education to clients and their families, empowering them to participate actively in the treatment and recovery process.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Stay current with developments in mental health treatment modalities, continuously integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on adolescents and young adults, who are often navigating transitional life stages and emerging challenges. Clients handled include pre-screened individuals who typically exhibit low acuity needs, allowing you to concentrate on proactive, therapeutic counseling rather than crisis management.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD is required to practice in the state of California.

• Strong experience in providing telehealth therapy, ideally with a focus on working with adolescents and young adults.
\n
• A commitment to participating in ongoing training in your treatment methodologies, particularly in our defined care pathways.

• Proficient in using technology for telehealth sessions, including familiarity with Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHRs).

• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to establish rapport and convey information effectively.

• A professional demeanor and ability to present oneself in a neat, organized manner during virtual sessions.

• Demonstrated warm and empathetic engagement skills, fostering a nurturing environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n
