Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories, identifying their emotional and psychological needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and the development of resilience strategies, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process trauma, learn coping strategies, and promote their healing journey.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating agility and responsiveness in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources, empowering them in their recovery process.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team case consultations and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care, contributing to the ongoing enrichment of our practice.

• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, ensuring that your practice incorporates cutting-edge approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who are survivors of trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients often come from diverse backgrounds and present with varied needs. Your expertise will be critical in creating tailored treatment modalities that respect their unique experiences and facilitate their paths to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong knowledge base concerning trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach toward patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure and confidence in high-stress therapeutic situations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to document care and manage client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
