Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to understand each client's unique history and mental health needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience building, and emotional well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help clients process trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering coping strategies, emotional regulation, and healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated patient care and continuity of services.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and support clients through acute situations.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain detailed, confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to promote ongoing professional development and trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population consists of individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, veterans, and those coping with PTSD and related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
