Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' trauma histories and the most effective treatment methods tailored to their unique needs.

• Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience-building and coping strategies.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver impactful sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to foster a safe space for clients to process their experiences and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive, integrated care that addresses each patient's holistic needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you'll primarily work with adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to childhood abuse, domestic violence, and loss. The clinic prioritizes a client-centered approach, aiming to provide clients with a safe environment to discuss their challenges and milestones. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
