Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments by meeting with clients through telehealth platforms to evaluate their mental health needs and establish rapport.

• Develop individualized treatment plans addressing mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing ongoing support and therapeutic tools to help clients manage their challenges.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, referring clients to psychiatrists and additional resources as needed for comprehensive care.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings to discuss case progress and share best practices for client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve assisting a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health disorders, children and adolescents dealing with behavioral issues, and clients with varying cultural backgrounds. You will utilize culturally competent approaches, ensuring that each client's unique experiences and identities are respected and incorporated into their care plans.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in New York State as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment methodologies, including evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
