As a full-time Mental Health Therapist, you will operate primarily in a remote outpatient office setting, receiving access to the necessary technology and resources to effectively conduct therapy sessions and manage patient records. Although the primary schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility is expected to adapt to patient needs and schedules, ensuring optimal care delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients’ histories and specific trauma-related challenges, guiding the formulation of individualized treatment plans.

• Develop, implement, and adapt treatment plans targeting trauma recovery, resilience building, and emotional well-being, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective interventions during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process trauma, build coping strategies, and foster healing among peers.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient, effectively coordinating treatment and information sharing.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate acute challenges and enhancing their overall safety.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, helping them access available community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring complete and accurate patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse clientele affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, combat veterans struggling with PTSD, and individuals dealing with the aftermath of significant life events. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LPC/MHSP, LP, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Ability to remain resilient and composed in high-stress situations while managing competing demands effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
