Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and identify customized treatment pathways.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at recovery from trauma, focusing on resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage participation and healing through shared experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated and integrated care for our patients.

• Offer crisis intervention as needed, particularly during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in routine case consultations and team meetings to continue developing our trauma-informed approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, each presenting unique challenges. Your role will focus on supporting clients through their recovery by employing trauma-informed practices that respect their lived experiences. This specialized focus aims to empower clients, helping them to navigate their trauma responses while learning effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, focusing on trauma-related disorders.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities and related interventions.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with compassion and empathy.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress scenarios.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant therapeutic software.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
