Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique life experiences and needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing strategies that promote resilience, coping skills, and emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support to clients facing mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their care journey.

• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in adherence to professional, legal, and ethical standards, using effective electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to ongoing cultural competence training and professional development discussions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapeutic practice.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy using inclusive methodologies that respect and address varied cultural nuances.

• Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention and the ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient use of EHR systems and other digital tools necessary for documenting patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
