Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement customized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Engage in therapeutic sessions, both individual and group, employing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Support patients during crises related to trauma and provide immediate interventions when necessary.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and medical professionals to create a comprehensive care plan that addresses co-occurring mental health needs.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have faced significant trauma, such as individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. This role demands a profound understanding of trauma's impact on mental health, as you’ll work to educate and empower patients on their recovery journey while providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing compassion and a non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
