This role offers a fully remote working arrangement, providing the flexibility to engage with your clients from the comfort of your own environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism. Our team operates collaboratively and values communication, ensuring that all team members are supported in their roles. We encourage flexibility around scheduling to meet client needs effectively, with standard hours set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories, establish rapport, and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate clients' specific trauma experiences and facilitate their recovery processes.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), allowing for tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and promote sustainable healing.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care and address the holistic needs of our clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and stabilization support to clients during trauma-related emergencies as necessary.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to support their recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards, contributing to comprehensive treatment planning.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, discuss client progress, and stay aligned with best practices in trauma care.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• Demonstrated capability in trauma-focused therapeutic modalities and resilience-building strategies.

• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to enhance client care.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health therapeutic setting is preferred. Candidates should have practical experience applying trauma-informed care principles and expertise in managing trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
