Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role provides flexibility and the ability to manage your own work-life balance while still engaging with patients through virtual platforms. Our outpatient office has a structured schedule, operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs and ensure effective therapeutic engagement.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and craft appropriate treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma experiences and building healthy coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care for each patient.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention during emergencies and assisting patients in navigating trauma-related challenges.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping methodologies, and available community resources to enhance support networks.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards while ensuring continuity of care.

• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care.

• Staying informed on current research and methodologies in trauma therapy to ensure best practices in your treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health issues. You will offer therapy to a diverse group of clients, facilitating their pathways to recovery while advocating for their mental health. Your compassionate approach and specialized knowledge will generate a profound impact on their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

Qualified candidates should possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia is mandatory.

• A foundational understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with an understanding of client confidentiality and ethical treatment obligations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and competent in using remote therapy platforms effectively.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of functioning efficiently in multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the qualifications above, candidates with two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health services are preferred. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and familiarity with evidence-based practices will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits\n
