You will be responsible for individual therapeutic sessions and group therapy sessions accessed via telehealth platforms or in a virtual setting, all while working from your own preferred location. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history accurately, helping to guide the selection of appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, promote resilience, and foster coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective, targeted therapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage clients to process traumatic experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated, holistic approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and follow-up care.

• Educationally enrich patients and their families on trauma responses, appropriate coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain diligent, accurate, and confidential documentation of therapeutic processes and patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously update your knowledge of the latest research, trends, and best practices within the field of trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals navigating the challenges of trauma, including survivors of assault, emotional abuse, and significant life events. Many of our clients experience conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression stemming from their traumatic experiences. As a therapist, your compassionate approach and expertise will be instrumental in their journey toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, with a solid understanding of trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor while interacting with clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, demonstrating a solid track record in trauma-focused therapy.

• Experience with specific therapeutic interventions for trauma recovery is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
