Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories, tailoring approaches to individual needs.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on evidence-based interventions such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, allowing for a collaborative healing process where patients can express their experiences and develop coping mechanisms.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members, ensuring a comprehensive support system for each patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies while maintaining a calm and supportive environment.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping tactics, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation as required by ethical and legal standards in health care.

• Engage in continuous professional development through team meetings, case consultations, and staying informed about advancements in trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will be primarily focused on serving individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, accident victims, and people facing domestic violence. You will tailor your approach to engage with each patient in a way that acknowledges their unique experiences while promoting healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. A master’s or doctoral degree is preferred.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Georgia.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions successfully.

• Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor, to foster positive therapeutic relationships.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
