This position is remote, allowing for flexibility while still delivering vital mental health support to our community. Our typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to express their experiences, learn coping mechanisms, and foster community support.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other professionals in our multidisciplinary team to maintain a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, offering immediate support to patients during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping strategies, empowering them to actively participate in the healing process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients we serve are individuals who have faced significant trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Georgia as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with trauma clients.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and an understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate, non-judgmental attitude.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress scenarios.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology for clinical documentation.
