We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team at Century Road Counseling Center. This remote position allows you to provide high-quality mental health care to clients struggling with mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety, in a supportive telehealth environment.

As a fully remote position, this role enables you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You will connect with clients through a secure telehealth platform, allowing for flexible scheduling during business hours—Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, determining their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate progress in clients' moods and coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, outline treatment options, and promote self-care practices.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress, adapting treatment plans in response to changes in their mental health status.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and clinical practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in team meetings and professional development opportunities to sharpen clinical skills and share knowledge related to mood disorders.

• Advocate for clients to combat stigma surrounding mental health issues and promote awareness of treatment options available.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults facing mood disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our clientele is diverse, representing a wide range of backgrounds, life experiences, and challenges. Your empathetic approach and professional expertise will be vital in guiding clients on their journey toward improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly CBT and DBT for mood disorders.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the interplay between medication and therapy.
\n
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience in a telehealth setting and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be highly valued. Furthermore, experience in group therapy facilitation and community outreach initiatives will enhance your ability to contribute to our practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
