Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans that address developmental needs and familial dynamics, using evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, aimed at improving the mental health outcomes of young patients.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers to create a supportive home environment.

• Rapidly respond to mental health crises involving our young clients, providing immediate support and intervention.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health concerns, treatment options, and relevant community resources.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training opportunities.

• Remain informed on the latest research and advances within child and adolescent mental health psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus will be working with children and adolescents suffering from various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring a supportive therapeutic environment that allows young patients to express themselves and work towards emotional stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities, coupled with a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy.

• Proven ability to establish rapport and trust with both children and their families.
\n
• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• A collaborative spirit and willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
