Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to ascertain patients' histories and current needs, guiding treatment planning.

• Design and carry out personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery from trauma and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Administer both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient's treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, offering support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their family members about trauma responses, strategies for coping, and available resources to aid in their recovery.

• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with diverse populations who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care methodologies, and resilience-building strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
