Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' personal histories and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that promote trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that allow patients to process trauma, build coping strategies, and foster an environment for healing.

• Employ specific therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, always prioritizing patient safety and well-being.

• Educate both patients and their families about the complexities of trauma responses and available coping resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional learning by attending case consultations, webinars, and industry conferences related to trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about recent research and advancements in trauma therapy to provide the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population ranges from adolescents to adults, all seeking a supportive professional to help guide them through their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a strong focus on trauma recovery.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations while delivering empathetic care.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and adapting to new computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
