Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations, collecting comprehensive data on clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs, ensuring measurable goals and outcomes are established.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions including individual and group therapy, employing evidence-based practices to promote client engagement and progress.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to respond to client needs and ensure successful outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to optimize treatment interventions.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in electronic health record systems like AVATAR, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
\n
• Provide psychoeducation and support to family members, helping them understand and manage the challenges faced by their loved ones.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively address these through tailored interventions and community referrals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction-related disorders. Our approach emphasizes holistic healing, addressing both mental health and underlying physical health issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient or community-based setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.

• Experience with dual-diagnosis clients and those with complex co-occurring conditions.

• In-depth knowledge of psychopharmacology and the effects of prescribed medications on mental health treatment.

• Awareness of the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

Wise Recovery Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a bonus structure for new hires.
