Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' unique histories and determine suitable therapeutic strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans rooted in trauma recovery, resilience, and evidence-based practices.

• Provide directed therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process emotional pain, develop coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Collaborate actively with team members to coordinate care, adapting strategies based on patient progress and feedback.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies or acute mental health challenges.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available to support their journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical requirements.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment approaches and continuous improvement in our trauma-informed practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest research, developments, and best practices in trauma therapy, ensuring the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma and are dealing with the psychological aftermath. This role requires a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders, and you will work closely with a diverse population that includes adults of various backgrounds, each with their unique stories and recovery needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience as a mental health therapist.
\n
• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment interventions.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to deliver focused therapies such as EMDR and TF-CBT.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills characterized by a compassionate, reliable, and non-judgmental approach.
\n
• Capability to remain calm and collected during high-stress situations, ensuring patient safety and support.
\n
• Proven proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software.
\n
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with a diverse client population, including different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

• Previous exposure to group therapy facilitation and crisis intervention methodologies.

• Knowledge of local and regional mental health resources and referral networks.

Compensation and Benefits\n
