Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address diverse trauma responses.

• Facilitating both individual therapy sessions and support groups that encourage healing and promote coping strategies among trauma survivors.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure well-rounded care and support for patients.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention services for trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma, reactions, and available resources, enhancing their understanding and coping capacities.

• Maintaining precise and confidential electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve individuals experiencing a range of trauma-related issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with diverse populations, offering hope and healing through personalized therapies designed to address deeply rooted trauma experiences. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies, with a demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications to effectively manage patient documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we are open to enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate a strong understanding of trauma-focused therapies and a passion for helping those in need. Experience in crisis intervention and the ability to work under pressure will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
