Work Environment\n

This position is completely remote, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your home while maintaining a balanced work-life dynamic. Our telehealth facility leverages modern technology to create a seamless patient experience, ensuring that clients receive the care they need regardless of geographical barriers. You'll engage in a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the flexibility to accommodate patient needs as they arise.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify their unique treatment needs.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based modalities.
\n
• Utilize therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, offering a safe space for clients to process their experiences and learn effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during emotionally volatile situations, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma, resilience, and available resources to foster understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional training focused on enhancing trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about current research and advances in trauma therapy to implement best practices in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals of various ages facing challenges related to trauma. Our clientele includes adolescents and families coping with PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health disturbances. Your role will be critical in helping these clients build resilience and navigate their experiences productively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios while delivering empathetic support to patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
