Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our therapists can engage deeply with their patients. Your primary work setting will involve conducting therapy sessions via telehealth, supported by a range of digital tools designed to facilitate effective remote care. With a workload that adheres to a typical 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule from Monday to Friday, some flexibility in hours may be necessary to adapt to the needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, risks, and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to meet each patient's unique needs.

• Provide various therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting strategies as needed based on therapeutic progress.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging open discussion and the development of coping strategies that promote healing and resilience among patients.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals and psychiatrists to ensure holistic and integrated patient care, sharing insights and strategies to optimize treatment outcomes.

• Offer crisis intervention support when required during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate assistance and developing action plans for ongoing care.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to support their recovery journeys.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and state regulations, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in case consultations, team meetings, and training opportunities centered on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed regarding the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance clinical skills and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving adults who have experienced trauma, resulting in disorders such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience with delivering trauma-focused therapies and demonstrated effectiveness in therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, offering reassurance and support to patients in crisis.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications relevant to telehealth service delivery.

• A team-oriented mindset, capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000–104,000 per year, reflecting experience and qualifications.
