Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed trauma-informed assessments to understand each client's unique trauma history and mental health status.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously refining individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's path to recovery and strength-building.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing.

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, appraise their feelings, and develop essential coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to integrated care.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies and teaching clients about trauma responses and coping mechanisms.

• Maintaining precise and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development pertaining to trauma-informed practices.

• Staying current with industry research and best practices to enhance therapy effectiveness and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center primarily serves individuals impacted by trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Clients range from adolescents to adults, each bringing unique challenges and stories that necessitate tailored therapeutic approaches. Your expertise will directly contribute to their recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure in the state of Pennsylvania as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with clients compassionately and without judgment.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client data effectively.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of functioning well in a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

El Gloria Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a robust benefits package, including:
