Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews with clients to evaluate their mental health status and understand their specific needs.

• Design tailored therapeutic plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, aligning with each client's unique mental health goals.

• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that foster a supportive environment.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress, treatment plans, and any modifications to ongoing therapy.

• Facilitate referrals to additional healthcare providers or resources, such as psychiatrists or community services, when needed.

• Engage in regular supervision and team meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance overall client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on diverse client populations experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including, but not limited to, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. As a counselor, you will be tasked with delivering culturally competent services tailored to the individual backgrounds and experiences of each client. Your role is crucial in providing support to those in vulnerable situations, fostering resilience, and advocating for their mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.

• At least four years of relevant experience providing mental health counseling services to a diverse client base.
\n
• Thorough knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Proven ability to utilize a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience conducting telehealth sessions and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of diverse populations, including children, adults, and families.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and experience handling emergency situations with poise and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits\n
