Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma histories, enabling the identification of tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating recovery from trauma and enhancing patients' resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address the unique needs of patients.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process their trauma experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your skills to de-escalate situations and offer immediate assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings that emphasize trauma-informed care and pragmatic solutions for diverse patient needs.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to inform effective treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of trauma survivors, including individuals grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique experiences of these clients, along with their emotional and psychological needs, is critical to fostering trust and facilitating effective therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably within a trauma-focused setting.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• The ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
