Family Wise Counseling, LLC is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized team. This full-time position allows you to work remotely while playing a critical role in delivering expert mental health care to individuals affected by trauma. We are particularly focused on treating conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, which require dedicated and informed therapeutic interventions.

Work Environment\n

This role is based in a remote work setting, enabling you to engage with patients from the comfort of your own space while maintaining professional standards of care. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some need for flexible scheduling based on patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories, needs, and readiness for treatment.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support effective healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their traumatic experiences, establish coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients facing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, helpful coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical requirements.

• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and contribute to training activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing the effects of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is crucial in driving positive mental health outcomes for these patients, working to instill hope and facilitate meaningful recovery processes through compassionate care.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills exemplifying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations to effectively support patients.
\n
• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications used in data management.

• Ability to work collaboratively as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to integrated care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
