This position allows for remote work, alongside in-person responsibilities within our outpatient office setting. Our team operates on a supportive, collaborative framework designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will be part of a dynamic team that sometimes requires flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling preferences.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' trauma histories and determine the best treatment methodologies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and developing resilience in clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting coping strategies and facilitating the healing process for patients.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure a comprehensive and integrated care approach.

• Offer crisis intervention support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they have access to the resources they need.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records compliant with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field of trauma therapy to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve engaging with clients who have experienced significant trauma, providing them with the support they need to heal and thrive. Understanding their unique perspectives and challenges will be critical in developing treatment plans that address their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid, current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, exhibiting a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• The capability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while remaining sensitive to patients' needs.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• A commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is two years of post-licensure experience, candidates with experience specifically in trauma-focused therapeutic approaches will be given preference. Familiarity with current treatment methodologies and a proactive approach to engaging with clients are essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
