Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and document comprehensive case notes, tracking client progress from the first consultation through to treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, identifying key issues that impact their well-being.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, or groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and therapeutically effective individual and group sessions, employing techniques suited to diverse client needs.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans and strategies as required to promote effective recovery.
\n
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.

• Follow up on any clients admitted to hospitals, maintaining communication with medical personnel to provide continuity of care.

• Educate and support family members in managing mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and behavioral challenges. Our client base ranges from young adults to seniors, each requiring unique, compassionate care tailored to their specific life situations and mental health needs. It is imperative that our counselors are equipped to understand and respect the varied cultural backgrounds of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
\n
• Possession of a passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, with a focus on telehealth preferred.

• Experience working with clients facing addiction disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
\n
• Keen familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong background in understanding the pharmacological interventions prescribed by medical professionals and their effects on mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with potential sign-on bonuses.
