Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and determine the best treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on supporting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients explore their trauma, cultivate coping skills, and support their emotional well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other professionals during case consultations ensuring comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and resources.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Many patients come from diverse backgrounds and may have unique cultural considerations to address in their therapy. The role requires a strong empathetic approach to facilitate trust and rapport with each client.

Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, or closely related field is required.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience post-licensure is preferred, we value the potential for growth and development in our candidates. Compensation and Benefits\n
