Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals and families experiencing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will be expected to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in engaging with diverse populations, adapting your therapeutic approaches to cater to the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrable experience in mental health counseling, showcasing a strong clinical competency.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms, is essential.
