This role operates in a fully remote setting, allowing therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their own spaces while adhering to professional standards of care and communication. You will utilize a variety of digital tools and platforms to maintain effective communication and document client progress.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to identify clients' trauma backgrounds and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide clients towards healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on helping clients process traumatic experiences, instill coping methods, and foster emotional regulation.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, develop effective coping strategies, and provide resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development related to trauma care, staying current with the latest research and therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is primarily on individuals grappling with the effects of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma histories, and various dissociative disorders. We provide specialized services to clients of diverse backgrounds, understanding the different experiences of trauma that can shape their mental health needs. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapy, particularly with trauma-focused methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, effective trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach when working with clients.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations while providing effective care.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital applications relevant to client documentation and communication.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver comprehensive client care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specific experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions, as well as engagement in community health initiatives or educational outreach programs, will be favored. Familiarity with the contemporary trends and research in trauma therapy is a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
