Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed initial interviews with clients, documenting case histories from the first consultation through the entirety of treatment.

• Evaluate and assess clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to identify appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop tailored treatment plans and recovery strategies for individuals, couples, families, and various groups, using evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and skill development.

• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize care.

• Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, on intervention strategies.

• Maintain proactive communication with hospital staff for clients requiring inpatient care, ensuring continuity of treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE).

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating the ability to navigate clinical situations with empathy and expertise.

• Familiarity with underlying physical and emotional health conditions as well as addiction disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
