Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, providing flexibility while ensuring that counselors can maintain a strong connection with their clients. The work environment promotes independence and collaboration, with regular virtual team meetings and professional development sessions designed to enhance skills and share best practices among staff. Work hours are generally set from Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis, to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with clients to design tailored treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and life circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing their symptoms effectively.

• Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge related to mood disorders and effective self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s health are addressed.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to ensure the use of cutting-edge therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain meticulous documentation regarding client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards for confidentiality.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical expertise and stay updated on best practices.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders and promote mental health awareness in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role serves a wide demographic, including children, adolescents, and adults from varied backgrounds. Counselors will work closely with individuals battling mood disorders, allowing them to navigate their challenges and establish healthier coping mechanisms. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Strong experience in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form meaningful connections with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Demonstrated success in delivering positive therapeutic outcomes in clinical settings.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the collaborative role of psychiatric medications in mood disorder treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses and a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.
