Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mood Disorder Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients' daily lives.

• Collaborating with clients to create personalized and effective treatment plans that align with their individual needs and therapeutic goals.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote positive mental health outcomes.

• Providing education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care strategies.

• Monitoring client progress consistently and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated treatment approaches that address all aspects of client care.

• Staying informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance clinical practices.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patient population at Single Pathway Psychiatry primarily consists of individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to chronic depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety symptoms that severely affect their quality of life. You will work with diverse clients, ranging from adolescents to older adults, each requiring a tailored approach to treatment that respects their unique backgrounds and life experiences.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients from various demographics.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
