Transcendent Healing Therapeutic Services is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient office in Rotterdam Junction, New York. This full-time role focuses on providing specialized care for individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT), you will be instrumental in improving the mental well-being of our clients through personalized care and professional support.

This role offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients through teletherapy while also providing the option for in-office sessions at our outpatient facility as needed. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients, utilizing structured clinical interviews and validated assessment tools.

• Collaborate effectively with clients to design individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and personal goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that treatment strategies are tailored to each client’s circumstances.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting understanding of mood disorders and discussing available treatment options and healthy self-care techniques.
\n
• Regularly monitor and track client progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, drawing on the combined expertise of the medical and therapeutic teams.

• Stay current with the latest research and clinical practices related to mood disorders to continually enhance the effectiveness of therapy provided.
\n
• Ensure thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies, fostering an environment of continuous learning.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders within the community.

In this role, you will work primarily with adults dealing with a range of mood disorders. Our diverse client base reflects various ages, backgrounds, and experiences, allowing for a rich therapeutic environment where varied perspectives can be shared and understood. Your contributions will help clients navigate their challenges and empower them to take active steps toward recovery and resilience.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• A strong understanding and competency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities specifically geared towards mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, along with the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds and life experiences.

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Proven success in implementing therapeutic interventions and improving clients' mental health outcomes.

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and the collaborative care model in mental health treatment.
