Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the collaborative energy of our outpatient office setting. Our team operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts required on a rotational basis. This format allows our therapists to maintain a healthy work-life balance while fully engaging with their clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity and characteristics of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that consider their specific psychological needs, personal goals, and treatment preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), aimed at improving mental well-being.

• Provide guidance and educational support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective coping strategies.

• Monitor clients' progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on therapeutic outcomes and feedback.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure integrated care and optimize patient outcomes.

• Stay current with industry best practices and research related to mood disorders to continually refine therapy approaches.

• Document client interactions, assessment results, and therapeutic plans meticulously, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is primarily on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder, along with related anxiety issues. We serve a varied demographic in Yonkers, emphasizing personalized care that respects and addresses each client’s unique background and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure in the state of New York as either an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on treatment strategies for mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
